Effective July 14, 2022, technology group Rohde & Schwarz acquired Schönhofer Sales and Engineering GmbH, a leading provider of advanced analytics solutions and IT systems. Together, the companies will offer customers in the government sector technologically leading end-to-end solutions from a single source.
After several years of rather stagnant development, the market environment in the field of security and reconnaissance has gained significant momentum. It is foreseeable that customers will have a strong need for targeted, innovative solutions in the years ahead. Rohde & Schwarz and Schönhofer Sales and Engineering GmbH (SSE) intend to position themselves jointly to meet this demand.
Founded almost 40 years ago, SSE now has more than 20 years of experience in data analytics and reconnaissance, as well as extensive expertise in system integration. This makes SSE’s products an ideal complement to the Rohde & Schwarz portfolio. Together, the companies can now provide customers with integrated signal intelligence solutions from sensor technology through to data analysis and sensor fusion — all from a single source.
The two companies have already been working together successfully on various projects. With the acquisition, they are now taking the next step.
