TARAN.IO brings this data together into a consistent, usable data picture, enriches it, and makes it available wherever it is evaluated or further processed.  <\/p><p>As a modular integration and data distribution platform, TARAN.IO connects sensors, external systems, operational applications and distributed system environments via a standardised technical layer. This reduces technical dependencies, makes data flows manageable, and enables scalable architectures. <\/p><p>TARAN.IO is cloud-native, containerised and designed for operation in Kubernetes-based environments. The platform can be deployed in public or private clouds, as well as in protected, segregated or fully air-gapped environments \u2013 depending on the operational scenario and security requirements. <\/p><p><strong>DATA CONNECTIVITY WITHOUT CUSTOM DEVELOPMENT<\/strong><\/p><p>TARAN.IO simplifies the connection of different data sources and target systems. The platform supports file-based, network-based and interface-based data connections, as well as the integration of operational data sources such as AIS, radar, GPS, ADS-B and other sensor or reconnaissance data. <\/p><p>Sources and sinks can be freely connected within configurable data pipelines. Incoming information can be validated, filtered, transformed, prioritised, enriched and forwarded to one or more target systems. <\/p><p>This allows new data streams to be brought into operation quickly, without the need to programme individual connections for each link. Systems with different technical interfaces, data formats or communication mechanisms can also be connected to one another in a controlled manner. <\/p><p><strong>FUSION INTO A SINGLE IMAGE<\/strong><\/p><p>TARAN.IO standardises incoming data and enriches it with relevant context such as source, timestamp, classification, position and other metadata. This turns heterogeneous data streams into structured, analysable information. <\/p><p>The TARAN Fusion Engine can combine direction-finding, location and sensor data from different sources and consolidate them into tracks. On this basis, the most probable position of a target can be calculated in near real time \u2013 even when individual sensors temporarily fail or data is only partially available. <\/p><p>The resulting track can, for example, feed into the situational picture in TARAN.EW as a source, supporting operational assessment, analysis and decision-making there.<\/p><p><strong>TARGETED DISTRIBUTION, EVEN AT LOW BANDWIDTH<\/strong><\/p><p>TARAN.IO distributes data in a controlled, needs-based manner. Information can be transmitted via broadcast, multicast or selective forwarding to authorised systems, applications or locations. <\/p><p>Configurable rules allow data flows to be adapted to operational context, priorities, availability and bandwidth.
